Ananya Panday wraps up her debut web show Call Me Bae | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Ever since her debut with Student of the Year 2, actress Ananya Panday has slowly but surely made a mark with her performance with films like Pati Patni aur Woh, Gehraiyaa, Dream Girl 2 etc. She was also one of the first actresses of her generation to jump on the OTT bandwagon and agreed to be part of Karan Johar backed show Call Me Bae and now the actress has completed the shoot of the first season of her show.

Sharing a picture of the cake on which it was written”Season wrap.Ho gaya bae. In the picture she also wrote , “The most special ever” with multiple red-heart emojis. Few days ago the actress had also spoken up about the impending last day of her shoot, she had written, “#CallMeBae, From day 05 to day 55 all the feels for our last day tomorrow”.The web show has an impressive ensemble cast, includingVarun Dhawan, Neelam Kothari, Vir Das, and Siddharth Bhardwaj etc the show is about the struggle of a billionaire fashionista trying hard to fend for herself.
Ananya’s last release was Dream Girl 2 with Ayushamann Khurrana, the film was very well received by the audience and soon after its release became a part of Rs 100 crore club. In the second installment of the film, she replaced Nusshratt Bharucha. The film also had Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Seema Pahwa in supporting roles. She also has Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav which has been in the making for quite a while but the release date is not yet fixed. She also has Vikramaditya Motwane’s Control in her kitty and in a recent interview the director mentioned that Ananya is aptly cast for the film.
