During a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Aaliyah Qureishi, one of Shah Rukh Khan’s co-stars in “Jawan,” shared an intriguing revelation about King Khan.
According to Aaliyah, Shah Rukh Khan is an ardent fan of AP Dhillon and had expressed a keen desire to collaborate with the musician for a song in the Atlee-directed film. While the collaboration did not come to fruition, it showcased Shah Rukh Khan’s genuine appreciation for AP Dhillon’s musical talent.
Aaliyah Qureishi also shared insights into their musical preferences on the sets of “Jawan.” She mentioned that they often found themselves jamming to AP Dhillon’s rap tracks, creating an atmosphere of musical camaraderie during the film’s production. Shah Rukh Khan, in particular, was noted for his enthusiasm for the track ‘Insane,’ as they danced to its beats.
“Jawan,” directed by acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, featured a star-studded cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Aaliyah Qureishi, Lehar Khan, Sunil Grover, and Deepika Padukone in a cameo role. The film, released on September 7th, received widespread critical acclaim and made history with its record-breaking box office opening, entering the coveted 1000-crore club.
Looking ahead, Shah Rukh Khan is set to grace the silver screen once again in Rajkumar Hirani’s comedy-drama “Dunki,” alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. The film, centered around the theme of illegal immigration, is scheduled for release on December 22, 2023.
